Position: Technical Project Manager Location: Georgia State (GA) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and drive the execution of IT projects for a GA State client. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven experience in managing complex projects. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and oversee technical projects from inception to completion. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven working experience as a Technical Project Manager. Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
