| Team: Retail Sales Domain Role: Sr Data Engineer Start Date: ASAP 2-3x/week onsite in Cincinnati, OH must be local and willing to go into the office Only for Local Candidates Must Haves: Any experience with Databricks (including Delta/Delta live pipeline implementation, Databricks asset bundles, etc) Any experience with Python, Spark and SQL Any experience with Azure Data Platform stack: Azure Data Lake, Data Factory ,Storage containers etc Additionals to Have: Any experience with Databricks Unity Catalog Any experience with Github (including CI/CD implementation, Github actions etc) Any experience with Terraform Any experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, IBM MQ and EventHub Any experience with data science solutions or platforms Any experience with a variety of SQL, NoSQL and Big Data Platforms Any experience building solutions using elastic architectures (preferably Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform) Data Engineer JD: Description / Deliverables: Present opportunities with cost/benefit analysis to leadership to shape sound architectural decisions Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases Experience in administration and configuration of API Gateways (e.g. Apigee/Kong) Apply cloud computing skill to deploy upgrades and fixes Design, develop, and implement integrations based on use feedback. Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment. Implement automation tools and frameworks (Ci/CD pipelines). Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of products. Collaborate with team members to improve the companys engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
