| Position: Senior Network Automation Engineer Location: Westchester, IL. Duration: 6-12 This highly visible position will be responsible for implementing and supporting the long-term vision for clients technological direction and evolving clients Enterprise Architecture. The position will work closely with the Infrastructure Engineering Leadership, other Network Engineers to develop and implement a long-term strategy for the enterprise to ensure efficient operation at maximum efficiency. The candidate will provide technical solutions to enhance operational efficiencies of the management and administration of on-prem and cloud-based solutions. The Network Automation Engineer is responsible for The design, implementation, administration, enhancement, monitoring and maintenance of production and non-production process automation software and systems. This role will undertake project work including overall responsibility for projects as directed by the business strategy and the Network Engineering Manager. The position works closely with Network Engineers, System Engineers and Application Teams that requires a strong technical and customer focus. The Senior Network Automation Engineer automation activities are conducted within regulatory guidelines and industry best practices. The Senior Automation Engineer uses technology to improve, streamline and automate to reduce the need for human intervention and maximize efficiency. The position is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring such technology. The Senior Network Automation Engineers will play a vital role in shaping a company's operational efficiency, making critical decisions that impact productivity, cost-effectiveness, and growth. The selected are the automation backbone, ensuring processes are optimized and future challenges are anticipated. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an enterprise environment in a development role with an infrastructure focus. Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft PowerShell Terraforms Service Now Integration Cloud Platforms (Azure or AWS preferred) Python (added plus) JavaScript (added plus) Working knowledge of network technologies is a plus Ability to automate the process related to Network Engineering process is needed.
