| Senior Automation Engineer Domain: Retail/e-Commerce Visa: GC/USC/H4EAD Location: Onsite-Dublin, OH (as early as day 1) Duration: Long-term contract Please see the updated job description: Position Overview: Our client is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to automate their voice AI. In this role, the Sr. Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating automated tests to validate Our Clients AI, ensuring high-quality results that meet business goals. Experience with text-to-speech (TTS)/speech synthesis technology/AI tools is required. Create and identify different test scenarios and conditions that need to be automated. Must have basic Point-of-Sale knowledge (preferably NCR Aloha). An individual with excellent written and oral communication skills. Capable of prioritizing and has the potential to multi-task work. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze different types of issues and automation failures. Meet timelines and minimize disruption to partner teams, proactively managing schedule and risks. Ability to adapt to changing procedures, environments, and tools in the QA space. Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately. Partner closely with the engineering teams to replicate and resolve issues. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, seeking guidance as needed. Responsibilities: Responsible for identifying and creating different test scenarios on a day-to-day basis. Create and execute automated tests in Our Clients AI QA Labs daily. Expected to perform Proof of Concept (POC) with different tools. Work closely with other QA teams to understand and collaborate on different use cases to be automated. Escalate issues that need more information to the concerned team and document the learnings. Work closely with the Google AI team to understand production issues and create automated tests for the next execution. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify problems and implement process improvements to prevent future issues. Provide suggestions on any areas of improvement. Able to Sign-off as QA tested after the test completed and passed successfully. Assist with technical interviews to hire candidates with similar skill set. Qualifications: Minimum of 8+ years of professional QA Automation Engineer experience- Required. Experience with text-to-speech (TTS)/speech synthesis technology/tools - Required. Hands on experience coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ or equivalent language- Required. Experience with OCR (Optical Character recognition) libraries, tools like Tesseract, OCRopus etc. - Required. Experience working different Voice AI tools like Murf AI, ElevenLab etc.-Preferred. Have a good understanding of ecommerce applications and architecture to assist in troubleshooting- Required. Technical aptitude to understand system architecture and follow how the various components talk to one another-Preferred. Must have basic knowledge and experience working with the Aloha Software products or equivalent Point of Sale system- Required. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or combination of education and experience - Required. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
