This role is available for US Citizens and is a hybrid role to the DC area, so please submit candidates in the DC/MD/VA location who are open to being onsite 1 day per week. Focus of role is on virtualization, and key skills are expertise in designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting large VMware installations, expert knowledge of ESXI server implementations and operations, experience with Aria Automation/Orchestrator/Operation, and experience with PowerShell/PowerCli scripting. Key skills are - Extensive expertise in VMware and ESXi server configuration Minimum of 10 years experience in supporting enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software. Demonstrating expertise in supporting and configuring the following technologies: Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large VMware installations Expert knowledge of ESXi server implementations and operations, VLAN, VMC, primary, secondary data center operations and hybrid cloud implementations Experience with Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator and Aria Operations Experience with Powershell/Powercli scripting FULL description - Client has an ongoing need for skilled technology personnel to assist with projects headed by the Board. Information technology services will be required for work that requires a senior system engineer with a strong background in VMware and ESXi Server engineering, operations and support. REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth in the Technical Services BOA, Section 3.13.6.1 for labor category Senior System Engineer. The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in supporting enterprise-grade ESXi servers and VMware server software. Demonstrating expertise in supporting and configuring the following technologies: Experience designing, planning, testing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting large VMware installations Expert knowledge of ESXi server implementations and operations, VLAN, VMC, primary, secondary data center operations and hybrid cloud implementations Experience with Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator and Aria Operations Experience with Powershell/Powercli scripting The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following: Assist the IT Enterprise Hosting Services team with daily operations and ongoing projects, including troubleshooting VMware and ESXi Server issues, developing new designs, managing maintenance windows, and handling any other tasks as required.
