The Allegion Quality Engineering Team is seeking a Manual Quality Engineer to collaborate with one of our custom portfolios for the Overtur program and help achieve our mission to create greater satisfaction and trust in Allegion Software.

We are seeking a Manual Quality Engineer who is passionate about the latest Quality methodologies and transfer this knowledge to the team. You will be directly responsible for the overall quality of the teams work and product quality. You will help set strategies for new testing methodologies & processes in alignment with business initiatives. You will also be responsible for developing and enabling the team to execute comprehensive test automation code and test cases for new and existing features of Allegion products. You will consider the needs of the product teams and strive to help the team deliver the highest quality product.

Job Description:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Responsible for assisting functional BAs in defining acceptance criteria, documenting test strategies, testing solutions, and ensuring business partner understanding and acceptance of test results.

Collaborating with Developers and Functional BAs to ensure functional spec designs are understood and technically executed correctly.

Analyzing and challenging existing processes and assumptions to help define the best solutions to meet the current and future business needs.

Create, plan, and execute a test execution strategy to deliver quality-related deliverables and services for projects and upgrades.

Create the test plan and manage the effort, including resource assignment, monitoring, managing the results, and ensuring testing objectives have been satisfied.

Identify functional test scripts necessary for completing user acceptance and regression testing objectives.

Report and interpret the results of the team's test efforts to stakeholders.

Document functional test scripts and prepare reports collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and disseminating test information, including test results.

Work with fellow quality automation engineers to enable automation and efficiency in the quality processes.

Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate effectively with others in person and remotely

Excellent communication skills at all levels. Proven ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations is required.
