Duration: Through End of Year, possible conversion No h1b Linkedin is must Targeting Desktop Engineer candidates who have led Windows upgrades/conversions (ex. Windows 7 to Windows 10 or similar). Any candidate who has led a migration from Windows 10 to Windows LTSC will take first priority. Candidates who have experience in the pharmaceutical industry to in a regulated environment will also take first priority. Update 7/31: LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) knowledge/experience is extremely nice to have, not required. They do not need to be an expert, but any knowledge of LTSC would be a huge bonus. Candidates must have strong experience with Windows 7 to Windows 10 (or newer) upgrade/conversion. Candidates coming from pharma or highly regulated environments will take first look. Description / Notes: Lab Support Tech will handle roughly thirteen office buildings in the Lake County IL area. This will involve converting Windows 10 Pro to Windows OS LTSC (LTSC = Long-Term Servicing Channel) for all lab workstations. Our client is looking to switch to LTSC because there is not as much patching that is required and they dont want to deal with constant updates/interruptions to their business. This resource will work with roughly 3,000 devices (large environment). Please find out how many devices a candidate was responsible for handling and converting, how long it took them, etc. The more the candidate can walk the manager through how the conversion takes place, the better. We are NOT looking for a junior resource here; this person should have led the conversion and been the go-to resource who managed the conversion from Windows 10 Pro to Windows OS LTSC.
