Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with APIs and third-party libraries to integrate applications with backend services. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in Android app development using Kotlin and/or Java. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Familiarity with continuous integration and agile methodologies. Experience with modern Android development practices and tools, such as Jetpack, AndroidX, and MVVM architecture. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. Experience with publishing applications to the Google Play Store. Knowledge of mobile security and data protection practices.
