Position: Oracle ERP Technical Project Manager Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ months Job Description: We are currently using the Infor-Lawson S3 Human Resource Information System (HRIS) application ver.10, with a significant number of customizations, and Landmark running on IBM AIX Unix 7.1 platform. We are also using Lawson Business Intelligence and Crystal Reports. The HRIS application includes Absence Management, Benefits, Human Resources, Payroll, Personnel, and Time & Attendance. We developed a customized time and attendance application to record employee attendance and produce time records for payroll processing. This application is designed using the Lawson application development work bench platform. It is integrated within the core Lawson application suite. We are also using Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) utilizing the Oracle Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Cloud Platform. The functional scope for Oracle ERP Cloud is financials and supply chain management (Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Advanced Procurement, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, Projects and Grants, and Sourcing). We are in the process of migrating from the Infor-Lawson Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud applications. The HCM implementation project requires a Technical Project Manager to oversee various aspects of the implementation. Responsibilities The IT Project Manager is critical to ensuring successful client engagements and consistent client satisfaction by leading business users and technical professionals through each phase of a project. This role provides oversight to multiple concurrent projects, implementing solutions across the district. Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project deliverables and schedules Oversee multiple development projects at once and provide updates Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress and share them with end-users as well as other staff members. Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques Provide comprehensive consultation to both business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle Ensuring teams meet all scope requirements by completing jobs properly according to their contract or agreement with the client Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues. Any unresolved issues are required to be escalated to the DBIS supervisor for mediation and resolution. Create and manage the project risks register to minimize potential risks Developing documentation including but not limited to MCPS business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and communication All changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs must use appropriate tracking tools (i.e. Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams). Thereafter facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, post support plan, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements Project Deliverables are delivered on schedule Project Artifacts are created and delivered based on the project: Scope Document, Technical and Functional Requirements Document; Charter; Risk Log; Communication Plan; Project Schedule; Testing/Issues Log; Change Control Document; Support Plan; meeting notes, and Production Readiness Plan Requirements SaaS/IT/software implementation project manager with a keen focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration Business and information technology practices and development. Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Project planning tools (e.g. - Microsoft Project, Visio, Jira, and SharePoint). Design and delivery of business applications including the software development life cycle; database, programming, and network technologies; and quality assurance practices. Manage multiple complex projects and tasks while paying close attention to details. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills. PMP or SCRUM certifications are preferred.
