This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and delivering high-quality BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Reports and Dashboards: Design, develop, and implement Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that meet business needs. Ensure reports and dashboards are accurate, timely, and user-friendly. Data Integration and Management: Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, cloud-based platforms) and integrate data into Power BI. Clean, transform, and model data to ensure it is accurate and ready for reporting. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather and understand reporting requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders regarding data visualization best practices. Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and usability. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation for developed reports, dashboards, and data sources. Conduct training sessions and provide support to users on how to effectively utilize Power BI tools. Stay Updated: Stay current with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance BI capabilities and implement new tools or techniques. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of developed reports and dashboards. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases. Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Communication Skills: Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
