Experience leading DBA teams with proven track record of delivering operational results in a highly available enterprise environment. Experience with performance management of high performing teams. Experience developing, training, coaching DBA SMEs exercising radical candor. Driven to develop leadership skills to unlock team performance and growth. Build and manage our AWS RDS Aurora PostgreSQL and MSSQL database instances. Experience with database migration services (DMS) and using Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL a plus. Experience monitoring & managing a 99.999% operational database environment. Experience implementing complete database observability with tooling like Datadog SQL agent or equivalent. Experience with on-prem to cloud replication/mirroring. Experience with sustained database performance optimization/tuning. Experience with responding to incidents on an on-call basis. Knowledge of database security hardening techniques. Preferred: Knowledge of Python and PowerShell a plus. **Experience with setting up mirroring, availability groups, etc. Also, AWS migration experience is a huge plus. EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferably computer science for technology. PRIMARY FUNCTION: As the DBA/Developer, you will work with a small skilled DBA team to operate, optimize, and ensure the availability of Accelyas cloud & on-premise databases. Additionally, you will plan and execute the seamless migration of on-premise databases to the cloud. You will lead a small team and execute Accelyas cloud data strategy in line with Accelyas global business strategy, values and missions. The successful candidate will need to execute changes and meet performance targets while maintaining the ongoing satisfaction of Accelyas global airline partners.
