Job Description: SAP MM/WM Functional Expert Location: FORT MILL MI (Initial 2 Month Remote) Contract/C2C Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation and migration of the SAP MM and WM modules. - Design and configure materials management processes including procurement, inventory management, and vendor management. - Configure warehouse management processes including goods receipt, goods issue, and inventory tracking. - Develop and configure interfaces using EDI/IDOC for seamless communication with third-party logistics systems. - Integrate MM and WM with third-party logistics providers for efficient and accurate logistics operations. - Optimize materials management and warehouse workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Integrate MM and WM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and FICO. - Develop, configure, and deploy SAP solutions tailored to materials management and warehouse needs. - Analyze business processes and provide recommendations for improvements. - Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. - Lead master data migration activities, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance. - Plan and execute the cutover strategy for materials and warehouse data, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently without requiring additional handholding. - Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. - Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP implementation and migration projects, specifically in MM and WM modules. - Proven expertise in SAP MM and WM modules with relevant certifications. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Strong understanding of materials management and warehouse processes and how they integrate with SAP solutions. - Proficiency in configuring and optimizing materials management and warehouse processes to meet business requirements. Skills and Experience: - Extensive knowledge of SAP MM and WM modules and their integration with other modules. - Experience in master data migration and ensuring data quality. - Ability to plan and execute cutover strategies, particularly for materials and warehouse data. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in SAP configuration and optimization for materials management and warehouse processes. - Experience in developing and configuring EDI/IDOC interfaces for communication with third-party logistics systems. - Knowledge of integrating SAP with third-party logistics providers and managing associated processes.
