This role involves leading innovative projects, ensuring business objectives are met, and driving the execution of multiple business plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with distributed systems and API design, along with proficiency in Java. This position requires working on the Unified Onboarding and Universal Account functionalities crucial for Connect. Job Duties: Develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects. Support and ensure business objectives are being met. Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to develop high-level designs. Oversee a small team of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned engineering projects. Lead and participate in end-to-end service implementations, data feed ingestion, and orchestration. Design and implement low latency services. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Troubleshoot business and production issues. Skills: Distributed systems API design Java Project or Initiative: Work on the Unified Onboarding and Universal Account functionalities that are critical for Connect. Hybrid Role: Yes, this role requires 2 days in the office per week. Top 3 Skills Needed or Required: Proficiency in Java Experience with distributed systems API design Team Composition: The team consists of both senior and junior engineers, totaling eight members. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, including planning, task delegation, and progress tracking to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks. Provide technical leadership by offering expert guidance, conducting code reviews, and solving complex technical issues. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and gather feedback. Ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables through rigorous quality assurance and performance monitoring. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
