| From: bhavani, Brillius [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Senior Cloud Developer Location: Hybrid onsite in Spring, TX 77389 (Houston) Job Description: As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will lead applications design, implementation, and maintenance in cloud infrastructure. You'll also be responsible for performance optimization, security, and best practices compliance, and driving innovation in our cloud environment. Responsibilities: Senior Cloud Developer will work with the business, engineering, and development teams to evaluate and determine the best cloud options Design, create and implement modular cloud-based applications that are highly available and scalable Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions, leveraging Microsoft's AI services Develop and test code and data pipelines for AI applications Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies Evaluate existing portfolio of applications (desktop applications and cloud applications) and recommend options to combine the applications into one solution Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers. Educate teams on the application of fresh cloud efforts and technologies Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources; Regularly assess current systems and recommend any improvements As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will lead efforts to enhance cloud security and compliance Manage solutions encompassing operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring Use best practices for creating and maintaining cloud systems Ensure that data processing and storage operations are done effectively and in compliance with corporate security guidelines Identify, evaluate, and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities and solve any application deployment issues Interact with users to provide cloud support and guidance in accordance with users' requests Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering Experiences with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services are preferrable Extensive working knowledge of Cloud technologies in Microsoft Azure is a must Vast experience in developing cloud applications which are scalable, available, and aligned with industry best practices Extensive experience with scripting and automation, including knowledge of one or more programming and scripting languages (C#, Python) Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices Familiarity with Azure AI services, including pre-built AI components and custom ML models Excellent communication skills verbal & written in English; To be able to communicate with development teams as well as business teams and engineering experts Strong leadership and project management skills Proven track record of successful cloud infrastructure projects Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision Desirable: Industry vendor certifications are desired (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP or CNCF/Kubernetes certifications); although not essential if you have demonstrable ability Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience designing, building, and maintaining solutions in Azure, GCP or AWS Experience with data engineering and data science workflows Experience with using SQL and NoSQL databases Excellent knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps/GitLab Familiar with containers (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) Passion for continuous learning and staying at the forefront of AI advancements Keywords: csharp continuous integration continuous deployment artificial intelligence machine learning Texas Need - Senior Cloud Developer [email protected] |
