| From: Ryan, nitya software [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Data Scientist Lead Location : New Jersey C2C Role The Data Scientist will support Data Science and BI efforts for the consumer business of customer. The main responsibility lies in analyzing consumer data from devices, app stores, analytics systems, data lakes, and the database to provide quality data for quality AI and BI solutions. A good candidate is someone who is proficient in Python/PySpark, able to analyze data through visualization/tables/pivot tables, organized, and detail oriented. Expert level knowledge in SQL queries and database structure is also a must. To be successful in this role, the Data Scientist will focus on below areas 1. Work with the consumer Analytics team to understand data fields definitions in the analytics systems, KPIs, and business metrics that are tacked by stakeholders 2. Work with the Data Innovation & Ingestion team to understand consumer data events, user database, aggregations, and transformations 3. Work with the Product Engineering/Architecture teams to understand systems, data flows, and events that go into data environments 4. Work with the Product/Business owners to understand business rules and logic 5. Be a data advisor to Data Scientists and Business Intelligence team when it comes to using consumer data to build AI and BI solutions 6. Use Python/PySpark to visualize data, analyze volumes, trends, and create pivot tables. Summarize data quality issues and areas for investigations. Requirements: Bachelors degree in a STEM field such as Statistics, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, etc. 7 years of work experience in data/business analysis, analytics, data visualization, reporting, or data engineering 7 years of work experience in Python/PySpark for data extraction, transformation, and analysis 7 years of work experience in querying data using SQL and BI tools 7 years of work experience in databases and pulling data with table joins 7 years of work experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Good communication and presentation skills to explain technical solutions to either technical peers or non-technical stakeholders Preferred Skills: Masters degree in a STEM field such as Statistics, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, etc. 5 years of work experience in data/business analysis, analytics, data visualization, reporting, or data engineering 5 years of work experience in Python/PySpark for data extraction, transformation, and analysis 5 years of work experience in querying data using SQL and BI tools 5 years of work experience in databases and pulling data with table joins 5 years of work experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Keywords: artificial intelligence business intelligence information technology golang Data Scientist Lead [email protected] |
