Job Title: Hardware and System Services Rework Duration: 6-12 Months Experience Level: 4 to 10+ years Onsite for below Multiple Locations: Texas: Austin California: Folsom, Santa Clara Massachusetts: Hudson Oregon: Hillsboro & Jones Farm 1,2 Washinton: Ridgepointe Job Description: Proficient in PCBs & Electronic Peripheral items and collaterals maintenance/repair/conversion to determine problems in non-functioning electronic equipment. Expert in faulty hardware debugging, failure mode recovery, strategies plan to troubleshoot defects based on the priority set. Excellent Knowledge in Build, rework and repair Printed Circuit Assemblies including surface-mounted components. Fix broken platforms, upgrade platforms to new silicon, and rework to the latest board spec. Performing assembly and soldering of platforms and related test equipment as per client or third-party instructions, including mandatory, feature-enabling, optional, and Power and Performance reworks. Assembling and disassembling laptops and small form factor devices to facilitate power-up and testing activities. Demonstrating a high degree of PCB board rework capability using soldering/desoldering equipment for various packaged devices, including BGAs, and supporting lab equipment installations, calibration, and upkeep. Conducting large BGA reworks, such as soldering down CPU sockets, CPUs, PCHs, and memory devices. Performing handheld hot air rework of small BGA devices and fine-pitch surface mount connectors like MIPI60 or 100-pin Sinai connectors. Executing experimental reworks that involve attaching blue wires to small vias or test points. Hands-On experience in all levels of repairs (Levels) desoldering and re-soldering of surface-mounted electronic components (SMD) Assist to oversee daily operations and ensure all collaterals are running seamlessly. Participate in meetings and contribute to strategic planning. Provide training, mentorship, best practices, work attitude, safety regulations and standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
