Job: Tier 2 Production Support / ETL Informatica with Production Support

Location: Remote (Looking for candidates from TX Location May need to come onsite for meetings)

Term: 6-9 month

VISA: USC OR GC

MUST HAVES

8+ years exp in Teradata, Informatica, Unix

3+ years exp in GCP, Tidal.

Supports the organization's data infrastructure and ensures the efficient and reliable processing of data.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, databases, and data processing systems.

Optimizes data workflows, ensures data quality, and supports data-related initiatives to enable effective data-driven decision-making.

Here is what we are looking for in Tier2 OPEX support. In addition to on-call support etc as mentioned earlier. This is specific to technical skills.

7 to 8 Years experience:

Extensively worked in data extraction transformation and loading from source to target systems using BTEQ, Fastload and Multiload

In depth understanding and usage of Teradata and Perficient in Teradata SQL , Stored Procedures, Macros, Views, Indexes etc.

Design and develop Unix and script and ETL Processes for loading data in Data warehouse.

Developed scripts for loading data to Target Data warehouse.

Performance tuning of Teradata queries using high volume of data.

Developed BTEQ scripts to load data in Teradata.

2 to 3 years experience:

Working knowledge of GCP and ability to design and develop optimized Data pipelines for batch and real time data processing.

Experience with GitHub and leveraging CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in GCP Cloud services such as Big Query, Composer, Scheduling tools (Tidal or Airflow), DataProc.

ON call Rotatio
n: For Tier2, one full week will be scheduled and this might occur <6 times a year. They should be able to respond to phone calls from Tier1 shift person.
