| Location: Dallas TX Duration: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Objects (BO) Administrator/Developer with proficiency in developing and maintaining WebI and Crystal reports, with working knowledge of BO administration skills. Candidate should have hands-on experience in managing the day-to-day operations of the Business Objects environment and possess deep knowledge of technical aspects related to administration, securities and support of the BI infrastructure and preferably experience working on Version 4.3 Upgrade. Responsibilities/Requirements Solid technical background and experience in developing and maintaining Business Objects (BO) reports, specifically Web Intelligence (WebI), Information Design Tool (IDT) and Crystal reporting. Experience working on Crystal Reports elements, including dynamic cascading prompt features. Strong understanding and experience of backend components such as Web Intelligence and Crystal servers, and BO administration managing the BO server, user security profiles, and migrating objects across environments and job scheduling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand issues reported while at the same time work on routine maintenance activities. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures. Perform System Integration testing during the upgrade for each environment and support the business during the User Acceptance testing, to support the existing landscape during the upgrade, and perform the post-upgrade activities to ensure system stability. Experience with a prior BO Upgrade is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.
