Collaborate with hardware design engineers to understand product specifications and requirements. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the successful transfer of tested designs to production. Comprehend and apply standards that pertain to AMR performance and testing. Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to assess the impact of electromagnetic interference on hardware. Conduct regression testing to verify the impact of hardware changes on existing functionality. Conduct reliability testing to evaluate the lifespan and durability of hardware products. Conduct various types of tests, including functional, performance, stress, Environmental, Security, regulatory and compatibility testing. Create and maintain test plans for new product development and sustaining engineering activities. Design and develop test plans and strategies for hardware validation.. Identify and troubleshoot hardware defects and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve the testability of hardware products. Perform and support qualification testing and provide test reports. Perform equipment GR&R / MSA and resolve discrepancy. Perform pre-qualification testing. Perform system-level testing to validate the integration of hardware components. Analyze test results, debug hardware-software issues and provide feedback to the development team for product improvement. Education Graduate/Post Graduate (BS/MS/B.Tech/M.Tech) in -Computer Science -Electronics and Communications Required Skillset(s) 10+ years of overall experience in IT industry. Min, 2 Years Experience as HW V&V Lead/SME/Manager Proficiency in hardware testing methodologies and best practices. Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems. Experience in designing and executing test plans and test cases. Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks. Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and datasheets. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for hardware testing. Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts. Proficiency in using test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, mustimeters, and logic analysers. Electrical and functional validation of power sensors, MCU, I2C, SPI, SMBUS and PCIe interfaces Experience with hardware debugging and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or C++. Familiarity with hardware description languages, like VHDL or Verilog. Understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles. Knowledge of computer architecture and microprocessors. Experience in conducting performance and reliability testing. Experience in V&V Test strategy/Test plan preparation, Test status tracking and test metrics reporting Familiarity with environmental testing, including temperature and humidity chambers. Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques for test data. Proficiency in using defect tracking and test management tools. Experience in testing hardware for different operating systems and platforms. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for testing.
