This resource will be responsible for overseeing implementation of the clinical and environment laboratory information management system(s) (LIMS) , ensuring project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, create and maintain documentation, provide RFP input, plan project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress. This is a hybrid telework position. Active PMP or VITA PMD cert required DAY TO DAY: Clearly define roles and responsibilities, drive constructive and productive participation by all involved. Aggressively manage project tasks assuring work progresses according to schedule. Collect requirements from a broad set of users and combining them into a comprehensive statement of requirements. Prepare documentation, obtain approval, and track all changes in project scope. Communicate project changes and events to stakeholders and senior management. Setting project goals and developing plans to meet those goals Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Manage multiple associated projects throughout the project lifetime to ensure success as defined by adherence to scope, budget, and timeline. Conduct regular project meetings and ensure comprehensive documentation of project progress and outcomes. Provides timely status reports to reflect project status, issues, and risks. Proactive identification of risks and impacts, and collaboration with customer and project team to address concerns. The position consults with the project team on all aspects of project management and ensures compliance with Commonwealth project management policies, standards, and guidelines. Skill Years Used Last Used Proven work experience as an IT Project Manager Required 10 Years Significant experience in agile project management methodologies and waterfall methodologies. Required 7 Years Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Required Experience in RFP process is required. Required 5 Years Experience in Planview Enterprise 1 or similar Portfolio and Project Management tools is required. Required 7 Years Experience in Azure DevOps or any Agile Project Management tools is required. Required 7 Years Certified Project Manager by PMI or VITA PM certification is required. Required Experience in Laboratory Information Management System is highly desired.
