MUST HAVE experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions. IMPORTANT - READ COMPLETELY: 1 - Candidates MUST HAVE specific experience in development with the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) platform (not just experience working in the public sector with Salesforce - but experience with the actual Salesforce Public Sector Solutions platform. If your candidate has not worked with this Public Sector Solutions platform and can not CLEARLY explain, in detail, where and how they worked with this specific platform, DO NOT SUBMIT THEM. The interview will be highly technical in relation to their experience with Salesforce Development on this specific PSS platform. They MUST have this experience to be considered. 2 - Any certifications listed on the resume MUST contain valid certification details, INCLUDING date the certification was acquired. If this detail is not included for certifications on the resume, your candidate will not be considered. --------------------------------------- Overview: seeking technical staffing support for remediating legacy Salesforce applications built prior to the use of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions. These solutions make use of Workflow and Process Builder which Salesforce is retiring. These workflow rules need to be migrated to Flows. Additionally, other application and legacy branches need to be updated and tested. This work is to be directed by the Salesforce Enterprise team to address the technical debt. Roles and Responsibilities: Leverage Salesforces dedicated data model: Public Sector Solutions configuration and/or customization to build and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. Migrate workflow rules and processes that need to be converted into Flows leveraging the Migrate to Flow Tool Set up YAML file in Copado Develop, modify, and mitigate Copado Branches Design, document, and review detailed functional specifications, system specifications, and program specific actions to be performed by the software to meet requirements and business needs. Strong foundation in the underlying Salesforce Public Sector data model and keeping with a Salesforce Public Sector First approach in mind. Participates in multiple programming activities and projects adhering to the current SDLC process and common agile practices. Perform Analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation. Create workflows of varying complexity leveraging the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions data model platform. APEX development (Classes and Triggers), development of Visualforce pages and Lightning Web components. Create integrations using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the State, including legacy systems. Code review custom developed code and make necessary technical adjustments and recommendations. Manage organization-wide defaults, configuring permission sets, establishing role hierarchies, writing workflow rules. Perform basic platform configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, etc.), creating reports and dashboards, and data management. Creates tables, data models, dimension models utilizing Informatica ETL tools. Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks as part of a team. Reviews estimates for accuracy and completeness composed by other team members. Work as directed by management to meet coding standards and best practices and should be familiar with test-driven development and no code, low code, custom maxim. Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles to deploy new functionality and updates to existing applications, objects, and code. Align with Salesforce recommended best practices.
