Senior Network Engineer with Forescout or ClearPass for Capital One Plano, TX or Richmond, VA or McLean, VA. Duration of the project is 5 months contract to hire. Looking for only GC EAD, GC or CITIZEN and Prefer local candidates. Job Description: - Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 6 years of experience with network solutions, VPNs, and network design At least 2 year of experience with 802.1x/NAC At least 3 years of Forescout design and engineering experience 5 years + hands on experience with Forescout or ClearPass and Cisco ISE experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Forescout Certified Administrator or Aruba Certified Professional Forescout certification (FSCA or FSAA preferred) 8+ years of experience with network hardware and software 5+ years of Forescout CounterAct administrator experience At least 2 years hands on experience with Cisco ISE Device administration, etc 3+ years of experience in Jira, Service Now, Infoblox and Snowflake 2 + years scripting and automation (Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell) 1+ years of experience with Aruba WLAN 1+ years of experience device posturing or IT/OT devices Candidate must demonstrate comprehensive understanding of NAC technology, illustrate extremely solid technical knowledge of products at a large enterprise level. Previous experience as a NAC engineer; designing, building and supporting enterprise computing platforms and systems Demonstrate proficient knowledge of L2 and L3 networks Solid understanding of Cloud / Virtual Compute platforms and their supporting infrastructure Solid understanding of High Availability strategies Familiarity with the concepts of infrastructure as code, test driven development and automated deployment of infrastructure solutions Strong scripting and automation skills in various languages (such as Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell, etc.) Good communicator who is willing to share and teach amongst peers Willingness to update and contribute to living engineering documentation Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Hands on experience with Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass Hands on experience with Forescout technologies Ability to work on high level projects and low level network changes. Good to have: knowledge on IDS/IPS, Fabric technologies, zero trust, general network concepts and routing protocols Good to have certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CNSA, CSAE, CISSP.
