| Title: Business Analyst Locations: Washington, DC Long Term Project Required Skillset: The Business Analyst Mid is responsible for leading the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of a clients business requirements on multiple projects and programs. Works with multiple business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business clients unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can assist. The Business Analyst (BA) works in a lead capacity with Project Control team members, Client business partners, and other IT organizations to align technology solutions and/or processes with Information Technology and business strategies. S/he is responsible for interfacing with stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document functional business requirements for highly complex business problems requiring design or integration of technical solutions. BA Responsibilities include: Skillsets: Proficiency in SharePoint and SharePoint Online. Strong understanding of file server structures and unstructured data. Experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management. Ability to work independently and in a team. Essential Functions: Analyze and assess current unstructured file server data. Develop migration plans and timelines. Execute data migration to SharePoint with minimal disruption. Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure successful migration. Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues. Document processes and create training materials for end-users. Required Experience: 2-3 years of experience in business analysis. At least 2 years of experience in SharePoint migrations. Proven track record of managing mid-sized migration projects. Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
