| Hi We are looking Role AWS DevOps Architect Location Anywhere in the US (EST) | Remote Contract All visa Fine 10+ YEARS MUST JD: As an AWS DevOps Architect , youll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient DevOps pipelines within an AWS environment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless deployment , automation , and scalability of applications and services. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or related field (or equivalent experience). AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , AWS Certified Solutions Architect ) preferred. Proven experience in designing and implementing DevOps solutions within AWS . Strong proficiency in Docker , Kubernetes , and infrastructure as code tools. Familiarity with TypeScript , HTML , and custom Backstage plugin development. Proficiency in Python , Bash , and other scripting languages . Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows . Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities: 1. DevOps Strategy and Architecture : o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define DevOps strategies , best practices, and standards. o Architect and design AWS-based solutions that enhance development, deployment , and operational efficiency . o Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements to optimize performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. 2. Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ): o Utilize tools like AWS CloudFormation , AWS CDK , AWS Codebuild and Terraform to define infrastructure as code . o Automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources. o Implement version-controlled IaC templates for consistent and repeatable deployments. 3. Containerization and Orchestration : o Proficiently work with Docker for containerization . o Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration . o Optimize container deployment and scaling. 4. Automation Scripts and Lambda Functions: o Develop automation scripts using Python , Bash , and other relevant languages. o Create AWS Lambda functions for event-driven tasks. o Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines . 5. Monitoring and Logging: o Implement monitoring solutions (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch , Prometheus ) to track system performance . o Set up centralized logging for troubleshooting and analysis. 6. Security and Compliance: o Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the DevOps lifecycle . o Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement necessary controls. 7. Collaboration and Documentation : o Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to streamline processes. o Document architectural decisions , configurations, and procedures.
