Position : Senior APIM Lead Engineer Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Duration : Long term End to end Observability using tools for APIM Consulting Resource Primary Skills Azure AKS, Azure API Management, Azure App Service, Azure Content Delivery Network, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage Queues Specialization Azure Development: Senior Lead Engineer Job Description: End to end Observability using tools for APIM Consulting Resource Azure Services Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure services, particularly Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Network Watcher, Security Center, Advisor, Service Health, and Cost Management. Splunk: Proficiency in using Splunk for log management and analysis. This includes understanding how to ingest logs from various sources, create dashboards, alerts, and reports. Log Management: Understanding of log management concepts, including log collection, aggregation, storage, and analysis. Application Performance Monitoring (APM): Knowledge of APM concepts and tools. This includes understanding how to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and diagnose performance issues. Network Monitoring: Understanding of network monitoring concepts and tools. This includes understanding how to monitor network performance, identify network issues, and diagnose network problems. Security Monitoring: Knowledge of security monitoring concepts and tools. This includes understanding how to monitor for security threats, identify security incidents, and respond to security alerts. Cost Management: Understanding of cloud cost management concepts and tools. This includes understanding how to monitor cloud costs, identify cost overruns, and optimize cloud spending. Automation: Familiarity with automation tools and concepts. This includes understanding how to automate routine tasks, such as log collection and alerting, using tools like Azure Automation. Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, such as Python or PowerShell, can be beneficial for automating tasks and customizing monitoring and alerting. DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), can be beneficial for integrating observability into the software development lifecycle.
