Location Cincinnati, OH ( Initially Remote is also fine) Duration 12 months Interview - 8 am to 4pm EST (M-F). Design and implementation of various mainframe tech solutions Support and Lead maintenance activities, releases, and major OS upgrades. Interact with customer and provide regular management reports / analysis. Work with IBM and other Independent Software Vendors on a regular basis to implement solutions Responsible for evaluating, planning, installing, and maintaining the z/OS Operating system and related software products. Develop operational standards; provide technical assistance to application developers and operations personnel. Assists in evaluating and selecting major software and hardware subsystems for operational efficiency and to reduce operating costs. Lead software upgrades and maintenance activities.
