Position: Database Senior Lead Location: Bristol County, Massachusetts Client: HCL Duration: Long Term Job description: Collaborating with customers and partners on key engagements, developing and delivering proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and supporting implementation projects to migrate customer environments to AWS cloud-based database platforms. Focusing on customer solutions such as high-volume mission-critical OLTP/OLAP environments, batch data processing, and designing and deploying future-state architectures. Demonstrating proficiency in AWS services such as RDS, EC2, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and Database Migration Services. Excellent knowledge and migration experience with Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase databases. Comprehensive understanding of database encryption strategies and implementation for all databases. 5-6 years of experience leading team members. 5-6 years of experience working with customers. Expertise in setting up Oracle Data Guard, AlwaysOn, etc for Oracle and SQL Server databases. Ability to perform hands-on database migrations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and experience in migrating databases to AWS cloud platforms.
