Role: DevOps Engineer with Ansible Work Location & Reporting Address: New York, NY 10003 Day 1 Onsite Contract duration (in months): 6-12 Implementation: Infosys Minimum work Experience: 10-12 Years Job Details: Required Skillset: - Ansible, Linux Responsibilities Develop Ansible playbooks and modules. Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux and Windows servers. Perform automated patching. The patch management system saves the patching information to check in regularly to see if previous patches are up to date. Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within your infrastructure. Coordinate with Infrastructure/Server team to ensure that all systems are patched in a timely manner. Develop and implement patch management strategies. Monitor system performance before and after patch implementations to ensure system functionality and stability. Prepare reports on patch management activities and performance. Write and troubleshoot Windows and Linux Shell Scripts. Auto configuration of standalone or cluster Create AAP Job Templates & Workflow Templates SNOW Integration with Ansible Must have knowledge of Linux RHEL\\Oracle Linux\\Windows Server system administration and YAML Role qualification At least 6 years' experience in, Linux RHEL\\Oracle Linux At least 3 years of experience using Ansible for DevOps development Design, Develop and implement test automation with Ansible Knowledge of vulnerabilities management & compliance report and patch baseline. Knowledge of Ansible core, Tower and Ansible Automation platform (AAP) Knowledge of the REST API, JSON queries in Ansible Knowledge of automated patching on RHEL, Windows and Oracle Linux.
