| From: bhaskar, Spear staffing [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Oracle Xstore POS Consultant Location:100% remote Duration :6-month contract to hire - Interview: Video Three of them Skills Required Requirements 5-6 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years in J2EE Software Design and/or Development. Experience designing, developing, and delivering custom software solutions using object-oriented design and programming concepts. Proficiency in working with distributed teams and leading development teams. Skill and experience with the following: Application Servers (preferably WebLogic, Jetty, and JBoss); Unix Shell and Windows Scripting; Spring Framework; Oracle Technologies; Relational Databases; Web Services. In-depth knowledge of the following: Object Oriented Programming & Design; Operating systems including Windows and Linux. Intermediate to Advanced understanding of hardware. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate design rationales clearly and build consensus around designs. Ability to learn and leverage new frameworks and tools swiftly; A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends. Bachelors Degree or higher in a relevant field. Willingness to work flexible-hours as needed to accommodate offshore team and client requirements. Occasional travel may be required to fulfill job responsibilities. Preferred Previous experience in the retail industry and/or familiarity with Oracle Retail/MOM.
