| Job Title Java Developer Duration 6 to 12 months Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) Capital One H4EAD and H1B only (Passport is Must) Need Ex Capital One Candidate Only. If you not able to find Ex Capital One then find a strong financial background candidate Location: Plano, TX (hybrid Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) IV: 1 interview via zoom with a coding exercise likely. If they feel they need additional interviews they can do a second. Role moving very quickly. Cap One experience is a nice to have but not actually required. He is more looking for the right person. These people will be integrated into multiple teams. This is more development focused. Java, DevOps, Kafka, Cloud, Linux. This is a Kafka/OneStream migration project. Looking for a Java Dev with some kind of DevOps experience and a Cloud Native platform. This will be on Linux, Kafka and Streaming experience is a plus. Distributed database and streams would be beneficial. They need the niche resources that can help them complete this project. Not ALL of the years of experience below need to be met. He is looking for a Senior level resource with someone that has at least 8 years of Java development experience and has 3-5 years of Kafka experience. They do need to have SOME DevOps (CI/CD) experience. He wouldnt consider someone that does not have any exposure to that environment. Job Description: Responsibilities: Work on diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community. Collaborate with product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, JavaScript, Node.js, Open-Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, C Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services along with Kafka Stream experience.
