Must be Local to Boston to interview on site Front End Angular Developer - Plymouth Rock - Boston, MA (hybrid) JOB DESCRIPTION- Looking for: -Recently started using Angular 15, so has to have experience with Angular 12 at a minimum -Majority front end support, with some back end -AWS and Java experience is nice to have (will make the candidate stand out) -Ideally targeting 10 years of experience -This team is responsible for the esales platform at Plymouth Rock. It is the primary application for customer facing entry/purchase point for auto and motorcycle insurance policies -would like a candidate who has faced product level used with go-live and overcome those issues -Plymouth Rock is changing the UI/face of their application Frontend Angular Developer Work with product management and the IT teams to manage the new home user interface. Continually evaluate the user experience of the application based on analytics, best practices, and observations of user behavior. Work with product management and the IT teams to design, conduct, and evaluate tests for changes to the user interface both within and outside of the typical IT project process. Based on analytics and user testing, propose and implement the code enhancements to the application. Qualifications: 5+ years of development using Angular, must have experience working with Angular 12 at a minimum 7+ years of experience in developing front-end applications (JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3/JQuery). Experience with Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot nice to have Experience with SVN and CI/CD process. Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS and setting up DevOps pipelines with Jenkins is a plus Experience with developing Spring RESTful Web Services. Experience in modern creative and interactive user interfaces. Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform solutions. Good understanding of non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, maintainability and security. Good understanding of web application security. Effective interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
