| Dear Vendors Please share resume for below role Role: DATA Architect Location: Washington, DC REMOTE The project is remote, but they must come to Washington DC once every 2 months for 1 day Mode: Longterm Contract MAX RATE - $72/hr Government Project Responsibilities Collaborates with business partners to provide recommendations for technology decisions, including package selection and systems design and modification. Understand current system DB design, schema and design a modernized schema, entities and their relationship. Establishes, maintains and ensures compliance with standards and procedures for design, development, testing, and documentation, contributing to high quality, reliable systems that meet or exceed business needs. Research new technologies, new solutions. Understanding project requirements with minimal assistance. Ensuring that development happens according to established processes of code quality. Requirements A deep understanding on how to normalize, when to deformalize, design tables schemas. Familiar with transactional system and know how to maintain transactions , audit data , Indexing schemas, while designing keep performance and data integrity intact. Experience with user authorizations, authentications especially when implementing Single Sign on with Databases. Hands on experience with SQL development like Stored Procedures, Triggers , Functions etc., Deep knowledge of data design/ data modelling patterns such as when to use custom data types vs built-in SQL data types Working within a Scrum or agile development environment. Highly preferred: AZURE SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Factory.
