Job Title: - Salesforce Developer Location: Chicago / IL Duration: Contract Solution Implementation: Translate architectural designs into functional Salesforce applications across multiple clouds (Experience, Education, Marketing, Service). Develop custom code (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) and configurations to meet specific business requirements. Implement integrations with AppExchange solutions (Linvio, Mogli, Saleswings, etc...) and external systems (Oracle Campus Solutions and other ERP or SAAS applications) using Boomi or other middleware. Technical Expertise: Possess deep technical knowledge of Salesforce platform features, APIs, and development best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards. Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Salesforce Technical Architect to understand and implement architectural designs. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure solutions meet their needs. Partner with other IT teams to coordinate deployments and ensure smooth integration with existing systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role, with proven experience in multiple Salesforce clouds (Experience, Education, Marketing, Service). Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I or II) are desirable but not needed. Experience in the higher education sector is a significant advantage. Strong programming skills in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Experience with Salesforce APIs, data integration tools (Boomi), and AppExchange solutions (Linvio, Mogli, Saleswings, etc...). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
