Position : SIL Embedded Test Engineer Location : Illinois (Onsite) Duration : 6 months C2C Interview : Video Description: Mostly developing test plans and executing test plans Experience in software testing (SIL) within an automotive or off highway field. Debugging 3-5 years exp+ Bachelors degree Resume about 2 pages long no longer. Develop and execute test plans for embedded software components, emphasizing loop testing. Collaborate closely with software engineers to understand system requirements and design effective test cases. Conduct regression testing, stress testing, and performance testing for embedded systems. Identify defects, track issues, and work with development teams to resolve them. Automate test cases where possible to improve efficiency. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in embedded software testing. Proficiency in loop testing methodologies and tools. Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers.
