This role involves working closely with business and IT stakeholders to establish and maintain effective data management practices, with a strong focus on Master Data Management. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Establish data governance standards and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Develop and maintain MDM strategies and architectures. Implement MDM solutions to centralize and manage critical master data across the organization. Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and reliability of master data. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify data governance needs and priorities. Work closely with data stewards, data owners, and other key stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance policies. Define and implement data quality metrics and KPIs. Monitor and enforce data quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Proven experience as a Data Governance Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on Master Data Management ( MDM). In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices. Experience with MDM tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, IBM Infosphere, SAP MDG). Strong understanding of data quality management and data stewardship principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data management (e.g., GDPR, HIPPA, CCPA) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Certifications in data governance, data management, or related areas.
