| Project Manager with Warehouse Management Systems Implementation Location: Alpharetta, Georgia Interview mode: Video (local candidates will always be given preference) Job Description: An IT Project Manager in this position will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a warehouse management system (ex. Manhattan WMS, SAP WM, ORACLE WM, Blue Yonder, Mercury Gate), SAP, and shipping systems. Key responsibilities include: Project Planning and Management Develop detailed project plans and timelines. Forecast and track a budget. Coordinate and lead project meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned. Client Engagement and Requirement Gathering Engage with clients to understand their business needs and system requirements. Coordinate with a business analyst to document and communicate these requirements to the project team. System Configuration and Implementation Oversee the configuration and deployment of the WMS, SAP, and shipping systems. Ensure systems are configured to meet client requirements and operational needs. Data Integration Implement data integration between UPS systems and client systems using EDI, XML, FTP, AS2 and other technologies. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems to support business operations. Testing and Quality Assurance Oversee development and execution of testing plans to validate system functionality. Identify and resolve any issues or defects before system go-live. Training and Support Provide support during and after the implementation phase to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate turnover to the steady state support team. Risk Management Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting Maintain regular communication with clients, internal teams, and external vendors. Provide status updates, progress reports, and project documentation to all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, and expertise with a WMS system((ex.
