Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Technology Manager. This position will oversee the Business Systems Technology team, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives and leading the team through and defining a strong corporate strategy in collaboration with leaders and business partners. This role will work within IT to help provide strategic direction for technology initiatives, managing projects, and ensuring seamless integration and interoperability of business systems. The manager will also oversee vendor negotiations and service delivery as well as drive process improvement and organizational change initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow the Business Systems Technology team through strong collaboration amongst leaders and business partners. Provide strategic direction for technology initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives. Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Facilitate the creation and maintenance of system documentation, including support processes, data, functionality, procedures, and security protocols. Negotiate and manage vendors, including SLAs, to ensure optimal service delivery to the organization. Oversee the integration of business systems to ensure connected data flows and interoperability. Provide leadership and mentorship to the Business Systems Technology team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development. Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices in system management. Identify and address operational inefficiencies and gaps, proposing and implementing effective solutions. Qualifications and Skills: 7+ years experience in IT, with 3+ years experience leading and managing an IT or Enterprise Applications team, preferably at a SaaS-based company. Successfully managed and developed an IT applications portfolio across the organization. Experience in digital experience, application management, systems integrations, and vendor management. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the business and tool owners to provide support and updates to systems and processes. Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and organizational change initiatives. Proven expertise and overall responsibility in back-office services, performance, and automation. Must have proven ability to consistently and collaboratively resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet all financial and management goals on time. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and mentorship. Assertive and confident with the ability to challenge, push back, and provide constructive feedback. Ability to deliver big-picture updates and align IT initiatives with organizational goals. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address operational gaps. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in building and implementing scalable solutions. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to address and align divergent ideas. Certifications: TOGAF Certification is preferred but not required. PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable. Certifications in industry tools such as iPaaS, ERP, and CRM platforms are beneficial.
