From: bhavani, Brillius [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Business Management Specialist (H1B Prefer, PP num must) Location: Hybrid (Attend On-Site Meetings) Location: Tallahassee, FL (Hybrid - Candidate will be required to attend meetings at client site on selected days of a month) Primary Responsibilities: APD Management: Write, update, and manage Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) and associated documentation for planning, implementation, and operations activities. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support the APD process. Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate meetings to gather, analyze, and finalize information for the APD process. Policy Awareness: Stay updated on CMS HHS and USDA FNS policies, regulations, and standards for APDs and educate project team members on compliance processes. Project Participation: Participate in procurement and cost allocation processes and meetings with federal partners and the Department. Status Reporting: Report progress updates to program leadership regarding APD development and associated activities. Documentation: Collect, review, and prepare documentation content from business and technical staff, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and adherence to agency standards. Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience developing advance planning documents (APDs). Minimum of 3+ years of experience in state government/public sector with health and human services programs (e.g., Medicaid, MMIS, claims processing, eligibility, HHS analytics, SNAP). Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to the advance planning document writing process. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Project Management: Experience managing multiple priorities/projects, including project scope, schedules, quality, change management, and project financials. Analysis: Prior experience in business analysis or project management. General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Communication: Clearly convey information in written and verbal formats to various stakeholders. Customer Service: Excellent client interaction skills, able to assess and meet customer needs. Decision Making: Capable of making sound, well-informed, and objective decisions. Flexibility: Adaptable to new processes, information, and changing conditions. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates friendliness, courtesy, understanding, and politeness.
