Need a resource to provide critical oversight to pre and post sales engineering discussions

Must have a strong understanding of MPLS, advanced BGP, and carrier network architecture

Ideal candidate can cover pre and post sales and has technical experience with R&S - Cisco, Firewalls - Palo, and Carrier

Would be excellent to source someone with FED Ramp or other state or local government experience

Clearance is NOT REQUIRED but would be EXCELLENT TO HAVE for future extensions as the customer grows

Before the Sale:

Show Off Your Expertise:
Dive into advanced networking technologies, including BGP, Cisco Routers and Switches, and Palo Alto security solutions. Create and deliver impactful presentations and demos that showcase the power of our solutions.

Team Up with Sales:
Collaborate closely with our sales team to understand client needs and design tailored solutions. Prepare and present technical proposals that demonstrate how our offerings can address their specific challenges.

Design Solutions:
Architect sophisticated network designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. Provide assessments and recommendations for improvements or new solutions.

Connect with Clients:
Build and nurture relationships with potential clients. Address their technical questions and guide them through the sales process.

After the Sale:

Support Implementation:
Assist clients with deploying network solutions, ensuring smooth integration of Cisco Routers and Switches, and Palo Alto security systems. Provide technical guidance and resolve issues during the implementation phase.

Train and Educate:
Conduct training sessions to help clients use their new network solutions effectively. Develop documentation and resources to support their ongoing use and understanding.

Ongoing Support:
Be the primary technical contact for clients post-implementation. Address and resolve any issues, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Gather Feedback:
Collect feedback from clients and share insights with our product and engineering teams to help refine and enhance our solutions.

What Were Looking For:

Background:
A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Significant experience in presales or technical support roles with a focus on advanced networking.

Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and hands-on experience with network design, including BGP, Cisco Routers and Switches, and Palo Alto security solutions. Experience with carrier and route & switch technologies is essential.

Certifications:

CCIE certification is highly desirable. Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications are also a plus
.

Communication Skills:
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Excellent presentation and training skills.

Client Focused:
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional support.

Team Player:
Collaborative, with a proactive problem-solving approach and a passion for working with others.
