Configure and manage Power BI settings and resources, specifically Power BI Service (cloud setup). Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Work with the vendor to deal with major or minor issues that might block users from using the application. Develop and maintain documentation related to Power BI administration. Knows Windows Server environment, and how to integrate other applications on Windows Servers to Power BI applications. Collaborate with other teams to ensure that the system is running smoothly. Defines governance approaches and should act as a business and/or technical expertise to attain objectives, including gateway setups, capacity, license planning, optimization, data modeling, etc. Should be able to help with setting up automations using APIs, and CI/CD implementation. Performs a variety of independent analysis and problem resolution assignments related to the application. Has knowledge of other BI tools, and an interest to learn newer techniques and way to administer the application in an efficient manner. Must have good knowledge of how data connections work, and how data is fetched from data sources to Power BI.
