Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local candidates only) Job Type: Full-time/Contract Start Date: Immediate Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding multiple agile teams through the Scrum framework to deliver high-quality products efficiently. This role requires someone who is passionate about agile methodologies, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is local to Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication. Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles. Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to ensure the smooth functioning of the team. Track and report on key Scrum metrics such as burn-down charts and velocity to stakeholders. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to coordinate efforts across the organization. Ensure the timely delivery of products by managing the team's workload and ensuring that sprint goals are met. Maintain a deep understanding of the projects goals, deliverables, and technical constraints. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment. Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Local candidates to Phoenix, AZ, are required for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (e.g., SAFe). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience in coaching teams transitioning from traditional waterfall to Agile methodologies.
