| Local to Seattle QA lead 15+Years of experience. Contract :6 months + Location : only local to Seattle Client: Sound Transit We need someone local to Seattle since onsite/field testing is involved . Vendor Focus: Ensure that third-party vendor(s) performs necessary testing, including coordinating testing efforts across the project team and system integration continuum. Review third-party vendor(s) QA/ Test deliverables for accuracy and completeness and provide input to vendor(s), particularly as it pertains to test coverage across necessary testing categories. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) & ST Internal Testing: Develop a set of test scenarios that will adequately cover ST-internal test needs, with a focus on long-term usability and repeatability, including ad hoc or end-to-end testing. Coordinate, assist with, and/ or perform necessary (ST) internal testing activities in coordination with third party vendor(s). Perform defect management and support the management of the PIMS issue tracker, including leading internal/external triage meetings and updating issue tracker with status of issues reported, and support retest of defect fixes. QA Planning/ Strategy Create an overarching QA plan/strategy for PIMS that defines the long-term plan and needs to perform adequate QA/ testing across various teams, system components, features and data, as the specified system evolves over time. This QA Plan/Strategy includes articulating the needs for the test environments and hardware (HW) resources as required. Ensure that third-party vendor(s) has an adequate QA foundation in place for subsequent PIMS releases, including an adequate approach.
