Developing and testing code Working with software architects to understand requirements Troubleshooting software issues Data collection, processing, and communication, Interacting with global teams, primarily in the US and India, Agile development environment. Minimum: 3-5 years of relevant exp, Internship experience can be considered if relevant and substantial. Bachelor's minimum; Master's degree with relevant experience is considered, but actual work experience is valued more. Required Skills: Proficiency in C programming Exp with Linux operating systems Strong background in data processing and communication Familiarity with CAN protocols and data-driven software development Ability to troubleshoot using CAN-based software analyzers. Preferred Skills: Experience in telematics applications, Knowledge of configuration management and design patterns, UML tools experience (e.g., Rhapsody) is a plus but not essential. Top skills: Exp MS Office suite. Exp using Linux. Exp in embedded controls development for Telematics applications in heavy machinery or automotive industry to gather data and remotely monitoring assets. Exp with CAN, J1939, TCP/IP and other data link protocols. Exp using CAN based tools like CANoe and CANalyzer. Exp with GIT configuration management tool. Exp using Design Patterns in software development. Exp with developing Unit Tests and Test Driven Development. Exp with UML Tools like Rhapsody in developing designs through UML diagrams.
