Role: AWS cloud engineer Location: Jersey City, NJ (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Architect, design, and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions using AWS services. Develop cloud-based applications with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability. Monitor and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud-based environments. Write scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Implement and manage security best practices across AWS environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions. Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues. Stay updated with the latest AWS features, services, and best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure for better performance and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS. Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible. Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools such as AWS IAM, Security Groups, and AWS WAF. Experience with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar AWS certifications preferred.
