| Job Title Python Developer with Node.Js (Banking domain) Location Mclean, VA- Hybrid Duration 6 to 12 +months Visa : H4EAD and H1B Only(Passport Number) Client : Capital One Banking domain needed Project Details: Initiatives: The initiatives focus on optimizing customer communication through email, SMS, and push notifications. The goal is to identify the right customer at the right time to deliver the most relevant events. This involves modernizing platforms and migrating existing implementations to contemporary systems to better support customer notification events. The current legacy events, which are Java-based, are being migrated to AWS, Node.js, and Python. o How many Team Members: 4 Developers on Team. Dedicated product owner. No Agile scrum master so they mediate their own scrum activities. Developers are remote except Ed and Product Owner are on-site. o Current Project: Capital One is seeking a professional to work on a project focused on backend development, aimed at delivering robust cloud-based solutions that create impactful experiences and empower millions of Americans financially. This role operates within an Agile and Scrum environment. The hybrid work expectation requires in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. While familiarity with Java would be beneficial for understanding concepts and reading code, it is not a requirement. All backend development will be done using Python and Node.js. The top tech skillset for this role includes backend development with Python, Node.js, and AWS. This includes: 1. Backend Development: Focus on delivering robust cloud-based solutions. 2. Python and Node.js: Significant experience and proficiency in these languages. 3. AWS: Utilization of Cloud services, with preference for AWS. 4. Full-Stack Development: Involvement in full-stack development tools and technologies preferred but not required. This is mainly backend development. 5. Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment. Tech Must Haves ------ 3 years experience as Backend Developer 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in Python and Node.js Experience with AWS and/or AWS Certification (Solution Architect-Associate preferred) Experience working in an Agile environment Job Description ------ Responsibilities: Work on a project focusing on backend development to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment. Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies. Utilize technologies including Python, Node.js, AWS tools and services, and microservices. Identify gaps and solve problems to completion utilizing multiple technologies.
