| Position : Java Microservices + Rest API Location: Boston, MA Onsite Need candidate ex-employee of TCS / Wipro / Infosys. Develop and Maintain Microservices: Design, implement, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability. RESTful API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs that are robust, efficient, and adhere to industry standards. Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of microservices with the broader application ecosystem. Performance Tuning: Optimize application performance, monitor and troubleshoot issues in a production environment, and suggest improvements. Security: Implement and maintain security best practices for microservices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Java and microservices architecture, and suggest ways to improve existing systems. Agile Methodology: Work in an Agile environment, participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Required Skills: Proficiency in Java: Strong command of Java (Java 8+ preferred) with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Microservices Architecture: Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture, including service discovery, load balancing, and circuit breakers. Spring Framework: Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, with hands-on experience in building and deploying microservices using these frameworks. RESTful Web Services: Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, including knowledge of HTTP, JSON, XML, and API versioning. Database Experience: Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing microservices. Testing: Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Postman. Preferred Skills: Message Queues: Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ. Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and logging tools like ELK stack or Splunk. API Gateways: Experience with API gateways such as Netflix Zuul, Kong, or AWS API Gateway. Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
