Location: Boston, MA. Hybrid role required to work on site from day 1. Open to relo candidates from nearby states, but must be on site, out of pocket, from day one. Prefer resources closer to Boston, MA. NO WEST COAST CANIDATES will be considered. Client: Healthcare Payor / Provider Duration: 12/31/24, will extend out Interviews Video Must work hybrid onsite in Boston (2-3 days a week). Must have Healthcare experience and working at bigger Blue Plans (BCBS) or Payor space (healthcare insurers, hospitals). We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Senior Data Governance Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up and executing data governance models within the payor space, with a strong background in healthcare data management. The person will step in to backfill some existing data sharing efforts, while being point person to assess current maturity, advise client, and create a new governance roadmap. Job Summary: We are looking for a high-profile Data Governance Consultant that advises on assessment & roadmap, while also being an executioner Not just someone that just worked on the team must have advised and operationalized. Someone that has setup the Data Governance model and executed them. Help build frameworks within Data Governance Will fine tune some of the internal process Very strong on Data Sharing, Data Security, Data Steward, Data Quality. Informatica is current tool that they are using but this is not a requirement. Informatica nice to have. Must have Healthcare experience and working at bigger Blue Plans or Payor space (healthcare insurers, hospitals). Qualifications & Responsibilities: Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience assessing maturity, and designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive data governance model tailored to the needs of the payor space, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Business Acumen: Data governance is a business function. The individual will have business data governance experience with ability to create data governance principles from the business context (compliance, regulatory, policy, etc) Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working with Blue Plans or other large payor organizations, with a deep understanding of healthcare data management and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to align data governance practices with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
