Position: Business Data Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Data & Analytics team. The Business Analyst must have experience with reporting and data deliverable development, Azure DevOps, Agile methodology, backlog management and prioritization, and Program Increment (PI)/release planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in our team, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translating them into requirements for our Data & Analytics team. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements. Develop user stories and acceptance criteria and work closely with the development team to ensure they are understood and implemented. Utilize Azure DevOps to manage and prioritize backlogs, as well as plan and execute PI and release planning. Apply reporting best practices to ensure the accurate collection, analysis, and distribution of reports. Also, ensure that data is validated, reconciled and contextually consistent across all internal and external reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively. Assist the project manager with creating detailed project plans and timelines and manage project execution from start to finish. Assist the project manager track, report on project metrics, and use data to drive decision-making. Assist the project manager with communicating progress and any issues to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Agile software development and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery. Requirements 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst, with experience in data & analytics development. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field. Experience with Agile methodology and practices, backlog management and PI/release planning. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for creating and managing project backlog and release scope. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
