| From: Ravina, Vyze Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Position: Sr Cloud Database Engineer Duration: 12+ months+ On PV W2 Location: Westlake, TX | Must be onsite 1 week (5 consecutive days) per month | No relocation or long-distance commute Visa: US Citizen or Green Card ONLY Must Haves: o Candidates need at least 8 yrs of experience o Strong with AWS S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, etc. o Strong PL/SQL and Oracle experience o Snowflake is required but a year of snowflake should suffice Nice to Have: Exposure Java/Microservices based exp CI/CD pipelines Notes o Candidate who interviewed have lacked strong PL/SQL o Team of 18 members, managed solutions/account within Wealth Data Platform team mainly modernize for AWS environment platforms including Oracle, PostgresSQL, Glue ETL, and Snowflake for DW. Migrating to cloud overall Interview: 2 rounds, initial 30 mins behavioral/tech; followed by a 45 min tech panel The Expertise and Skills You Bring 8+ years in solutioning of Oracle development (PL/SQL) and/or Streams based development 3+ years of solutioning and coding experience with one or more of the following: o AWS Cloud environments (DMS, SNS, SQS, Lamda, Glue with Scala or Python, RDS like Oracle and PostreSQL etc.) o Containerization and Orchestration technologies o Application web server technologies 5+ years of solutioning and development with ETL technologies 5+ years of data modelling 5+ years of Data Warehouse modelling and Reporting and Analytics platforms like Snowflake Strong understanding of API development experience with large scale, highly available Enterprise class platforms Knowledge of no-sql databases like DynamoDB preferred 2+ years Java development experience preferred 2+ years of microservices architecture & development preferred Strong experience developing in an Agile team setting (Kanban and/or SCRUM) Experience working in a DevOps and CI/CD environment AWS certification a strong plus A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience Ability to think out of box and design end-to-end solutions Passion and intellectually curious to learn new technologies and business areas Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization The Team We are responsible for providing the Data and Software Engineering technical expertise and leadership used by our Managed Solutions Money Movement squad within Managed Solutions product area.
