Duration: 3-6 month contract (to possible hire) within the EST time zone (9:00 am 5:00 pm) Interview Process: 2 phase interview process Visa: USC & GC Certification & LinkedIn Mandatory They want only US Candidate - No Indian Names Position Summary: The Senior Operations Engineer will report to the Manager of Network Security Operations and will play a critical role in managing and securing our network infrastructure. This position involves working closely with various vendors and technologies that the team handles daily, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Arista routing and switching, Meraki SD-WAN and wireless, Extreme switching and wireless, and Cisco routing, switching, and wireless. Responsibilities/Day to Day Activities: Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, multicast, and WiFi across offices and ballparks. Work with various vendors and technologies: Palo Alto, Arista, Meraki, Extreme, and Cisco. Collaborate with vendors to support and resolve network issues. Optimize cloud networking configurations in GCP and OCI. Maintain detailed network documentation and reporting. Ensure network security and compliance with best practices. Optionally use network automation and scripting to streamline tasks and improve efficiency. Required Qualifications: IPsec, VPN, Firewall Troubleshooting: Proficient in configuring and managing IPsec, site-to-site and remote access VPNs, and troubleshooting firewall issues, especially with Palo Alto Firewalls. Wi - Fi, RF Standards: Expertise in WiFi technologies and RF principles, including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and security Multicast and Troubleshooting: Skilled in configuring and managing multicast networking protocols, with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to group management and data distribution. Cloud Networking (GCP and OCI): Experience with networking services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including VPC, Cloud Interconnect, VPN, VCNs, DRGs, and network security configurations. Network Automation/Scripting (Optional but a Plus): Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) to automate network operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks.
